General Consultations

Consultations with regard to emotional and behavioural symptoms in Childhood and Adolescence are offered. Caoimhe’s orientation is psychodynamic and this guides her understanding and recommendations with regard to emotional problems in children.  Generally a four session assessment/consultation is offered to parents and children with feedback provided at the fourth session.

Pre-separation Consultations

Caoimhe specializes in the area of “Children of Separated Parents” and offers a pre-separation consultations which focuses on the emotional needs of the children. Parents can attend jointly or separately. Caoimhe also works with separted couples who seek to avoid adversarial proceedings and wish to work towards solutions that are in their children's best interests.
